San Francisco passed a new law last month that requires all retailers to display the amount of radiation a cellphone emits. Predictably, that law is now coming under fire from CTIA, the wireless industry group. CTIA has filed a lawsuit to block enforcement of the ordinance.

A national plan is a phone coverage plan for cellular use covering coast to coast--with access anywhere anytime. This pricing is generally more than that of a local coverage plan contract, but gives the user the best possible pricing for such wide coverage area.

National plan means that roaming and long distance charges are covers the entire nation. Like regional, this type of wireless phone plan covers the whole country. This is the type of plan you want to get for traveling all the time and don't know where you are going to be.

National plan is for you if:

  • you want to talk and travel around the country.
  • you want domestic roaming included in your calling plan.
