San Francisco passed a new law last month that requires all retailers
to display the amount of radiation a cellphone emits. Predictably,
that law is now coming under fire from CTIA, the wireless industry
group. CTIA has filed a lawsuit to block enforcement of the ordinance.

BlackBerry Continues to Attract Subscribers
According to an AP report, Research In Motion Ltd. said on May 9 that
it has reached a new milestone, with
more than three million subscribers now using the company's BlackBerry
wireless platform, including one million subscribers added in less than
six months.
BlackBerry subscribers went from about 2 million in November to 3 million
now. They first crossed 1
million in February 2004.
